Laundry rooms

Laundry rooms are in the basements of blocks A, B, C, and F, on the first floor of block E, and on the second floor of block D. Reserve a time using the sheet at reception, where you can also collect the key when your reservation begins. Important information Observe quiet hours. Washing in blocks D and E is prohibited from 22:00 to 6:00; drying rooms may be used until midnight. Washing costs 30 CZK per hour and tumble-drying costs 20 CZK per hour. Charges continue until the key is returned to reception. You may borrow a laundry room only once per week. Use only the washing machine assigned to you. Reserve a machine by writing your name and room number in the appropriate time slot. The reservation sheet uses two-hour slots. You may reserve no more than four hours per day. Collect the key no later than 30 minutes after your reservation begins. Otherwise, the reservation is cancelled and someone else may use the machine. After washing, place your clothes in the dryer or drying room and return the key. To collect them later, borrow the key again and return it within 30 minutes; otherwise, an additional washing fee will be charged. Cancel a reservation at reception so that the slot can be made available to someone else. Do not remove another person’s reservation from the sheet. Clean the washing machine after use, especially the detergent and fabric-softener drawer. Clean the dryer too if you used it. Violations of these rules are handled by the dormitory management.

Bike room

The bike room is for storing bicycles belonging to club members who live at the dormitory. It is on the ground floor of block F, next to the entrance. To be able to access the Bike room you must: be a member of the Pod-O-Lee club; have active basic membership; have a card assigned in Hydra; complete the bike-room member declaration; email the bike-room manager at kolarna@pod.cvut.cz. Storage room

The storage room is for keeping belongings such as fridges, microwave ovens, and small furniture during the summer break. It opens at the beginning and end of the summer break. Storage is free for club members with valid basic membership. You can find it on the ground floor of block A, room 019. The storage-room administrator (kufrarna@pod.cvut.cz) announces opening dates in advance. Individual opening is not possible. Pod-O-Lab

Pod-O-Lab occupies two rooms on the ground floor of block E. The first is primarily a mechanical workshop, while the second is dedicated to electronics and 3D printing. The lab is open to every club member by prior arrangement. Email the team at lab@pod.cvut.cz and read the operating rules before visiting. Study rooms

Study rooms can be found in rooms: A306, A406, B306, B406 Keys can be borrowed from reception for up to 24 hours in exchange for your dormitory ID. Reservations are also made at reception. Operating rules The rooms are intended for studying; other activities are prohibited. A study room may be borrowed for up to 24 hours, counted from the time the key is collected. Keep quiet and leave the room clean so that you do not disturb other students. Do not damage the room or its equipment. The borrower is responsible for the room throughout the loan period. The borrower may allow other people to enter but remains responsible for their behaviour and compliance with these rules. Report any damage to the room or its equipment at reception and record it in the defect log. Unreported damage may be attributed to the borrower. The Service Facilities Administration (SÚZ) is not responsible for improperly stored or unsecured belongings such as phones and laptops. Smoking is prohibited. Sleeping in the study rooms is prohibited. Do not sit on radiators, window frames, or other objects not intended as seating. Restore the room to its original condition and close the windows before leaving. Breaking these rules may result in a temporary ban imposed by the dormitory management.

Kitchens
