Bike room

Bike room is for storing the bicycles of the club members staying at the Dormitory, you will find it on block F on the ground floor next to the entrance. To be able to access the Bike room you must: Be a member of Pod-O-Lee club Have active basic club membership Have assigned card in Hydra Fill in declaration of bike room member Contact the Bike room manager on email kolarna@pod.cvut.cz. Tool rental Club tools are available to Bike room members for basic bicycle maintenance and even for more extensive repairs. Storage room

The Storage room is a room to store things (e.g. fridge, microwave and small furniture) during the summer break. It always opens at the beginning and end of the summer break. Storage is free for club members with a valid basic membership. You can find it on the ground floor of block A, room 019. The Storage room opening is managed by the Storage room Administrator (kufrarna@pod.cvut.cz) The opening dates are always announced in advance. It is not possible to open the Storage room individually. Pod-O-Lab

The Pod-O-Lab is located in two rooms on the ground floor of Block E. The first room is mainly a mechanical lab, while the second room is for 3D printing and electronics. Lab is open by appointment with administrators and team members by email lab@pod.cvut.cz and we kindly welcome every member of the club. Mechanical lab In the mechanical lab, you can create anything you can think of. We have quite a few drill bits for both wood and iron, and we also have a nice range of taps. Socket wrench set, angle grinder, and bit set are also here. If something doesn’t want to cooperate, we can help it with a crowbar, a couple of sizes of hammers, both wood and iron saws, a proxxon, a 230 drill, or a hacksaw. A bench drill, a shucker, files, sheet metal shears, and a compressor can also make our lives much easier. We have scribing tools, a dimple, a calliper or fine files for precise measurements. To maintain proper conditions, we have both a WD and brake cleaner, brushes, a pile of rags, gloves, and a nice collection of zip ties, tapes, and protective gear. Come and see us; there’s always a way to take something apart into pieces or vice versa. ...

Study rooms

Study rooms can be found in rooms: B306, B406 Keys can be borrowed for up to 24 hours in exchange for the dormitory ID. Reservations can be made at the dormitory’s gatehouse. Operation rules Study rooms are dedicated to study purposes, any other activities are prohibited. Study room can be borrowed for up to 24 hours. Rental time is counted from the time of pick up. Keep calm and be clean in the study room in order not to disturb any other studying people. It is prohibited to damage rooms or its equipment. For the whole rental time of the study room the student takes full responsibility over the room. Responsible person can allow other people the access to the study room, but is responsible for their behavior and respecting the operation rules. If there is any damage found on the equipment or the study room itself, its obligatory to report the damage at the gatehouse and write the current state into the book of faults. It is understood as a responsible person’s fault if this does not happen. There is no responsibility from The Service Facilities Administration (SUZ) over not properly stored and secured objects such as mobile phones, laptops etc. In the study rooms smoking is prohibited. In the study rooms sleepovers of people are prohibited. It is prohibited to sit on the radiator, window frames and other things not dedicated to sitting. The room has to be put in the original state and the windows need to be closed. If the Operation rules of the study rooms are broken in any way the student will get BANned from further use of study rooms for a certain time period by the dormitory leadership.

Kitchens

If you need to cook/bake something for yourself on block C, D, E or F, you can use kitchen on each floor of the block equipped with oven and stove.
