Payment information

To use the benefits offered by the Pod-O-Lee club, you must have active membership and pay the relevant fees for each half of the calendar year. See Internal and external membership below.

  • Payments for the first half of the year can be made from 1 January to 30 June. Membership remains valid until 30 September.
  • Payments for the second half of the year can be made from 1 July to 31 December. Membership remains valid until 28 February of the following year.

A bank transfer may take up to three days, so do not wait until the last day of the payment period. If the payment does not reach the account in time, you will lose access to club benefits until it is processed. A correctly submitted instant payment should appear in Hydra within a few minutes.

How to pay

We strongly recommend using the payment QR-code generator available after you log in to Hydra.

Other options:

  • bank transfer (recommended)
  • cash deposit at a Fio Bank branch (fee: 90 Kč)
  • cash deposit at another bank (not recommended because the bank may charge a higher fee)

Payment by postal order is not possible and will not be processed.

We can accept only exact payments in Czech crowns. Any other payment must be returned, causing extra work and potentially additional fees.

Fees and specific symbols for each benefit:

  • Basic membership – 1,000 Kč, specific symbol 1 (required for all other benefits; includes access to the academic network and PC room and the option to borrow the grill or beer tap)
  • Pod-O-Gym – 1,000 Kč, specific symbol 2 (includes access to Pod-O-Gym and the sauna)
  • Music room – 500 Kč, specific symbol 3

Variable symbol: your Hydra ID, which you can find after logging in to Hydra.

Every benefit requires paid basic membership and active club membership.

To pay for more than one benefit at once, add the fees together and write the relevant specific symbols consecutively in ascending order.

For example, to use the internet and Pod-O-Gym, pay 2,000 Kč (1,000 + 1,000 Kč) and enter 12 as the specific symbol.

Signing the membership form

Every new member is introduced to the rules and statutes of the Pod-O-Lee club and confirms their understanding by signing the membership form. By signing, the member also consents to the Pod-O-Lee club processing their personal data. The signature is valid for seven years. You must register and sign this form before using any club benefit.

The forms are available from the “televizors”, volunteers who handle benefit registration and internet-related issues. Each block has a list near its main entrance; a complete current list is also available in Contacts.

Internal and external membership

According to IP13/2024, the Pod-O-Lee club has internal and external memberships.

Internal membership

An internal member is a person who is a member of the Pod-O-Lee club according to the valid statutes of the club and has a valid accommodation contract with the CTU Dormitory Administration (SÚZ ČVUT) for the Podolí dormitory. To obtain internal membership, the person must present a valid accommodation contract, or a valid dormitory card.

Membership is valid only for one period and must be renewed for each new period.

External membership

An external member is a person who is a member of the Pod-O-Lee club according to the valid statutes of the club, does not have a valid accommodation contract with the CTU Dormitory Administration (SÚZ ČVUT) for the Podolí dormitory, but has approved external membership from the president of the Pod-O-Lee club and from the manager of the given benefit.

Membership-fee waivers

The club board may waive membership fees for Pod-O-Lee members who perform work that benefits the club.
