The film club introduces PodolĂ residents to the diversity of cinema. Every Tuesday, we screen films from a wide range of genres, from cult series such as The Godfather to black-and-white classics, comedies, and westerns. Each film is followed by a discussion about what people enjoyed and what made the film interesting. We also organise weekend film marathons with refreshments, such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. Games include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokémon Shield, the Mafia trilogy, Red Dead Redemption II, FIFA 19, Superhot, Beat Saber, and Gran Turismo. Hi, we have had a fencing group at the dormitory since 2020. We focus mainly on wooden-sword battles, but all fencing and LARP enthusiasts are welcome. It does not matter whether you are a veteran or a complete beginner. Our group can lend you all the equipment you need, from swords, shields, spears, bows, and crossbows to costumes. You can join us for large battles such as The Lord of the Rings, Helm’s Deep, or The Battle Under the Mountain, but we also attend smaller events. We organise weekend training camps and participate in events held by the Pod-O-Lee dormitory club. ...
