New equipment at Pod-O-Gym
Hi Podoláci, do you want to get in shape or simply have a great workout? A new bench press and leg press are waiting for you at Pod-O-Gym! 🏋️♂️ The leg press has already been serving the gym faithfully for a while, but the bench is a brand-new addition, so come and put it to the test. New grill and seating area
Hi Podoláci, as you may have already noticed, we have not been idle over the summer and have made a few improvements. We now have a new grill and a whole new seating area around it! To keep everything in this condition for as long as possible (ideally for several more years), please treat the equipment with care and do not move the benches, tables, or the grill itself. New reservation system in Hydra
Hi Podoláci, with the start of the new month, we are moving to a new reservation system available directly in Hydra! To reserve a club room or equipment, please use https://hydra.pod.cvut.cz/reservations from now on. What should you know? Existing reservations: We have already successfully transferred all your upcoming reservations. New feature: You can now invite guests – other members of the Pod-O-Lee club – to your reservations. Some rooms will also automatically grant you and your guests card access for the duration of the booking, using the card registered in Hydra (these rooms are marked “Access”). About our club
The Pod-O-Lee dormitory club was established in 1998 and is currently the second-largest club in the CTU Student Union. It is run entirely by student volunteers who gain valuable experience while improving life at the dormitory.
International students are welcome too, so feel free to contact us. You can join the club management, IT team, Pod-O-Gym team, PR or HR team, and many other groups.
Besides providing an internet connection, we offer plenty of ways to enjoy your free time. You can visit our music rehearsal room, Pod-O-Gym, Pod-O-Lab workshop, and many other club facilities.
We also organise various social, cultural, and sporting events.
The Podolí dormitory is owned by the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and managed by the CTU Service Facilities Administration (SÚZ ČVUT).
If you find a defect anywhere in the Podolí dormitory, report it through the defect reporting system in ISKAM (Accommodation → Defect log).
In Hydra, you can check your paid memberships and see which of your devices have network access.

First day
Shortly before the start of each semester, SÚZ ČVUT organises the main dormitory check-in period. You will also find our information booth there, where we can explain how the club works.
Check-in can take some time. Long queues usually form outside the accommodation office, which is accessible from reception. Ask the reception assistant for a queue number when you arrive.
Bring the following to the accommodation office:
- ID or passport
- a small photo for your dorm card
- proof of enrolment (only if you are not a CTU student)
You can also insure valuable belongings against theft. Reception will provide a form on which to list the items. We strongly recommend insuring at least your laptop or computer and any other valuable belongings.
If you move in outside the main check-in period, feel free to visit or contact the club members on your block (Contacts).
